Abstract:
Today there exists a strong evidence to believe that most of the matter
in our Universe is made of dark matter (DM). In the last years, a huge
effort has been focused on understanding its nature as well as its
detection. The indirect detection of DM, namely, the detection of the
annihilation or decay products of DM particles, is a useful and
important tool. First, in this talk I will focus on the contribution to
the diffuse neutrino and gamma-ray background from DM annihilations in
halos at several redshifts and the role of subhalos on such searches.
Finally, I will briefly present the guidelines for a project that will
be carried out with Dr. Carlos Arguelles and other members of ICRANet
and UNLP-CONICET, about the emission in the X-ray background that would
be produced by decay of sterile neutrino DM from the galactic center.
This study will be performed assuming the Ruffini-Arguelles-Rueda (RAR)
model, for the distribution of DM in galaxies.
