Abstract:
 'Symposium 6: “Recent progress in Topological and Correlated Materials\".\r\n\r\nAbstract title:\r\nAbstract:\r\nPressure is an effective and clean means to tune fundamental interactions in 5d based materials, where electron-electron (Coulomb) correlations and spin-orbit coupling (SOC) are of comparable magnitude, to induce new phases and give insight into their novel properties. In this presentation, we will show some interesting novel magnetic and structural transitions emergent from some iridates (i.e. Sr3Ir2O7) at high pressure, which are probed with synchrotron, optical, electric transport, as well as theoretical computation methods.\r\n'
