I requested if other colleagues Saini and others who are in Florida may be interested. Naurang Saini was considering to organizing the 2019 meeting from Italy but the pandemic thwarted it. One could get started by organizing a small SMEC meeting somewhere in south Florida ( Boca Raton or Delray Beach) with one or more focused themes. There we could plan the fate of SMEC.
